I am a designer and developer who received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut. I was born in Masaya, Nicaragua, and immigrated to the USA with my family. This perspective has led to a belief that design conducted with social awareness allows for the exploration of identity in different contexts. Through the design process, artists can understand and represent the ways in which people are influenced by their cultural and socioeconomic environments. My work finds its meaning in the studied interactions of those around me, as well as my own experiences navigating life.
