Ms. Taylor, has worked with UConn Extension with Expanded Food and Nutrition Program and 4-H Programs over 20 years. Her Expertise as Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist is in the areas of community and normal nutrition for adults, youth, and children and for special populations (pregnant women and teens, nursing women, infants); also expertise in wellness, exercise and minority health issues. Also experienced as Trainer of Facilitators in Advancing Youth Development Course through the Academy of Educational Development/Center for Youth Development and Policy Research. Ms. Taylor is also the Project Director of the funded AFRI Project, CT Fitness and Nutrition Clubs In Motion, A 4-H STEM Afterschool Program encompasses fitness, nutrition and gardening education for elementary school children and their families to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity using a 4-H Teen Mentor Model
